Dong DMC Hosts Successful Familiarization Tour to Sapa & Hanoi

In May 2024, Dong DMC organized an exclusive familiarization tour to the breathtaking regions of Sapa and Hanoi. This initiative aimed to introduce new destination offerings, providing an alternative to Danang during its rainy season. The tour allowed Dong DMC's partners to experience firsthand the unique attractions of these areas, paving the way for innovative leisure and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) offerings.

Sapa: Vietnam's Emerging Hotspot

Nestled in the mountains of Northern Vietnam, Sapa is poised to become the country's next major tourist destination from 2025 onward. Known for its stunning terraced rice fields, lush valleys, and vibrant ethnic cultures, Sapa offers a refreshing escape from the usual tourist trails.

  • Cultural Immersion: Participants visited local villages, engaging with the Hmong and Dao communities to learn about their traditions and crafts.
  • Adventure Activities: The group embarked on treks through the mist-covered mountains and explored hidden waterfalls.
  • Scenic Beauty: The tour showcased panoramic views of the terraced landscapes, providing ample opportunities for photography and relaxation.

Hanoi: A Blend of Tradition and Modernity

The tour also highlighted Hanoi's rich history and its potential as a prime location for both leisure and business events.

  • Historical Sites: Visits to landmarks like the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and the Temple of Literature.
  • Culinary Experiences: Sampling authentic Vietnamese cuisine at renowned local eateries.
