Philippines DMC

Philippines DMC - The Philippines is a unitary sovereign and archipelagic country in Southeast Asia. Situated in the western Pacific Ocean, it consists of about 7,641 islands, that are categorized broadly under three main geographical divisions from north to south: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The capital city of the Philippines is Manila and the most populous city is Quezon City, both part of Metro Manila. Bounded by the South China Sea on the west, the Philippine Sea on the east and the Celebes Sea on the southwest, the Philippines shares maritime borders with Taiwan to the north, Vietnam to the west, Palau to the east and Malaysia and Indonesia to the south. The average yearly temperature is around 26.6 °C (79.9 °F).[295] In considering temperature, location in terms of latitude and longitude is not a significant factor. Whether in the extreme north, south, east, or west of the country, temperatures at sea level tend to be in the same range. Altitude usually has more of an impact. The average annual temperature of Baguio at an elevation of 1,500 meters (4,900 ft) above sea level is 18.3 °C (64.9 °F), making it a popular destination during hot summers.

“The Philippines is a hidden gem of Asia’s meetings and incentives destinations – a stunning tropical paradise made up of over 7,000 islands, majestic natural landscapes and unique culture”.

In the Philippines beautiful natural settings blends with a unique fusion culture of Spanish, American and Asian influences, stemming from 350 years of Spanish rule followed by 50 years of American rule.

The result: cuisine, architecture and traditions that combine local Asian festivals and lively catholic fiestas in a vibrant cacophony of inspirational experiences for conferences and events. Heart-warming hospitality characterises very happy and welcoming people, with a high service ethic and excellent spoken English.

The beautiful islands of Boracay and Cebu are a short flight from Manila and the ultimate conference and incentive destinations, with luxury resorts, pristine white sands, azure waters, and direct flight access to other cities in Asia offering excellent twin centre incentive possibilities.

The Philippines is a largely unexplored destination from an independent travel perspective, therefore incentives to the Philippines will surprise and reward with genuine unknown treasures. The stunning destination traditionally appeals to more adventurous clients, but this is changing rapidly with locations previously inaccessible for MICE, being opened up with luxury accommodation offerings.
